Mike Carbone is more than just an experienced drummer. Earning his Honours Degree from York University as well as was an Independent Music Production certificate from Seneca College, he created the perfect the launching pad to catapult his music career into soaring heights.

 

From the young age of four, Mike grew up listening to the soulful, funky sounds of musical acts like James Brown, The Jackson 5, and Sly & the Family Stone. It was during these young years of his life that he began playing the drums and discovering his passion for music. 

 

Over recent years, Mike has worked with artists such as Matt Schofield, Divine Brown, Jordan John & The Lincolns, Zakiya Hooker, Donnie Walsh and Matt Weidinger. He also has worked on special production projects for The Trailer Park Boys, Memphis to Motown Soul ShowDan Aykroyd and many other musical greats. He has enjoyed opening for talented artists such as Robert Cray, Doyle Bramhall II, Paul Rodgers, The Sheepdogs, Hollerado, Big Wreck and David Wilcox.

 

Currently Mike is performing alongside Joey Landreth and The Brothers Landreth continuing to develop a name for himself as an international touring drummer.
